How to Auto-Generate FF&E Schedules from Renders
Turn a concept image into a downloadable Excel or PDF furniture and materials list in four clicks. Here's the exact workflow interior designers use in Style2AI.
You can now turn a concept render into a furniture and materials schedule without typing it out by hand. Upload the image, pick the schedule type, click Generate List, then Export as Excel or PDF. What used to be an afternoon of transcribing is now a review pass.
The old way
Every interior designer knows this loop: the concept is approved, and now someone has to sit down and list every chair, sconce, and finish into a spreadsheet — item by item, room by room. The information is already *in the image*. Getting it out has always been manual.
The new way, step by step
- Upload your image. A Style2AI render, a photo, or any concept frame.
- Pick the schedule type. FF&E schedule, finish schedule, material takeoff, and 15 other list types.
- Click Generate List. You get a structured table — items, locations, descriptions, spec fields — formatted like a real document, not a wall of AI text.
- Click Export. Choose Export as Excel, PDF, or Word, depending on where it's headed: procurement, an issue set, or your spec writer.
One honest note: it's a draft, not a stamped document. It removes the transcription work; the professional review is still yours.
Where the render comes from doesn't matter
The schedule tool works on any image — including renders you generated in Style2AI itself. If you're starting from a sketch or a model, generate the visual first (here's how that works with geometry preserved), then schedule from it. One project, one thread, concept to spec.
Try it on your last project
Pull up a finished concept image and see what the schedule looks like. Start free on Style2AI, or see what's included in each plan. More on how we built for interior designers: Style2AI for Interior Designers.
